DJI Mavic 3 Pro – How to Turn ON/OFF (Step-by-Step Guide & Video)
Table of Contents
The past 2 years have been great for the drone hobby. We have seen the release of multiple Mavic 3 drones, the Mini 3 Series, as well as the all-new DJI Air 3.
If you are new to the drone hobby and recently received a Mavic 3 Pro, there are quite a few things to learn to get up and flying in a timely manner.
This article and video will be step-by-step guides showing how to power on and off the Mavic 3 Pro and the remote controllers in your specific Mavic 3 Pro Combo, whether the DJI RC Pro, DJI RC, or RC-N1.
Note: We recommend that all batteries for the Mavic 3 Pro and the remote controller(s) have been fully charged prior to following this step-by-step guide.
The Power Up/On Sequence #
Like with the previous Mavic 3 drones before it, the Mavic 3 Pro comes with multiple Combo options:
- The Mavic 3 Pro Cine with the DJI RC Pro controller
- Mavic 3 Pro with the DJI RC Pro controller
- Mavic 3 Pro with DJI RC controller.
Although not currently a Combo option, the Mavic 3 Pro also works with the DJI RC-N1 controller.
Some Mavic 3 Pro owners might decide to use the RC-N1 controller so as to attach an even larger and brighter device, such as the Tripltek line of industrial ultra-bright tablets.
Our Pick
Regardless of what Combo was purchased, DJI has a recommended power-up sequence for the Mavic 3 Pro.
Mavic 3 Pro Startup sequence in a nutshell:
- If you own a DJI RC or DJI RC Pro, the sequence is to turn on the RC (DJI RC Pro or DJI RC) and then the Mavic 3 Pro.
- If using a DJI RC-N1, the sequence is to turn on the Remote Controller first. Followed by turning on the Mavic 3 Pro, and lastly, opening the DJI Fly app.
