FPV Practice gate 1/2′ pvc pipe ground stake

FPV race gates cost a lot of money and are constantly out of stock everywhere. I built some that use 1/2″ pvc from Lowes and standard 1/2″ corner fittings. They are then padded using foam pool noodles from the dollar store. Under $50 for everything and I was able to make around 5 single decker gates. Im working on some longer stakes for double decker gates. Designed these stakes in tinkercad and they can be pounded into the ground easily with your foot or mallet. The stakes are designed to be tight on the pipe and you should be able to fit 1 1/2″ of the pvc pipe into the stake hole. Video soon to be on YouTube. Check me out on Instagram FlightJunkE_FPV
