The DJI Mini 3 Pro quickly became one of the most popular drones released, with outstanding capabilities to fly it safer, record, photograph, and enjoy an immersive experience while flying.

But does DJI Mini 3 Pro needs accessories? If yes, what are the best accessories for DJI Mini 3 Pro?

To protect the drone and ensure its peak performance and capabilities, DJI Mini 3 Pro may need extra accessories such as, but not limited to, a rugged case, spare propellers, an SD card, and even ND filters to create cinematic videos.

Keep reading to learn about the must-have DJI Mini 3 Pro accessories that we highly recommend.

Waterproof & shockproof hard carrying case #

I want to start this list with a top recommendation for a safe method to store and carry the DJI Mini 3 Pro drone and other accessories.

We all know that the drone is so tiny that you can carry it in your pocket, backpack, and so on. But by doing so, you may put your drone at risk.

The drone should always be stored and transported safely, regardless of weather conditions and unknown factors where it may be at risk of damage, even before you lift it.

We suggest having this top niche waterproof & shockproof hard carrying case to safely keep and transport your drone.

DJI Mini 3 Pro Intelligent Battery Plus #

Thinking about what you can do with your drone and how everything can be interrupted by flight time, this should be an investment you should consistently think about.

Please note that you will receive only one battery when you buy your DJI Mini 3 Pro Drone standard version.

Although DJI advertises that one intelligent battery can hold the drone in the air for up to 34 minutes, the intelligent battery plus can extend the Mini 3 Pro flight time up to 47 minutes.

The intelligent battery plus for your DJI Mini 3 Pro is a fantastic choice; however, remember that the plus battery will make your drone exceed the 250g weight, which will fall under different regulations depending on your country or state.

If, for this reason, you decide not to go for the Intelligent Battery Plus, we strongly recommend you have at least 2 or 3 intelligent batteries (not plus) for your drone to extend your total flight time and still remain under the 250g mark.

I always have at least three batteries for each of my drones, as when the world is lovelier from above, I don’t want to get interrupted just because I have a single battery.

DJI Mini 3 Pro charger & 2-way charger #

It should be familiar now that DJI, like Apple and some other companies, embraced the same strategies, not shipping an actual wall charger with the device anymore, just a simple USB-C cable.

Although many of us already may have a USB-C charger capable of charging the DJI intelligent battery, we do recommend a more characteristic wall charger, such as the following one:

Well, you have the charger now, but what if you have more batteries and also need to charge them and your RC?

For this reason, we recommend the 2-way charging hub for the DJI Mini 3 Pro – this item you will receive when you get the Fly More Combo version, but not when you buy the DJI Mini 3 Pro standard version.

With this, you can charge three batteries and your remote controller all in one go.

Please remember that the DJI charging hub will charge your batteries individually and not all at once.

ND filters for your DJI Mini 3 Pro drone #

With the DJI Mini 3 Pro’s stunning video recording capabilities, you can create impressive cinematic videos, but to do that, you need to respect a few rules of filmmaking.

For instance, your video’s shutter speed should be double compared to the framerate you are recording. As an example, for 60 frames per second filming, you need a shutter speed of 1/120 or similar.

If you manually set your shutter speed to those values, your image will likely be overexposed during the day (too much light). For this reason, we need an ND filter.

With the ND filters, you can reduce the light coming into your DJI Mini 3 Pro camera sensor to be able to reach good exposure values with the settings required to get a fantastic video.

There are quite a few versions of ND filters. What we recommend are the ones made by DJI, such as the following:

But another good choice with a lot of pleased filmmakers would be this plastic version (lightweight) and more options to use when flying:

MicroSD cards – but which one? #

There are hundreds of brands and models of MicroSD cards you can use, but not all of them will work for your DJI Mini 3 Pro – but why?

The speed of a MicroSD card is essential. Knowing that the video bitrate is up to 150Mbps, to be able to record smoothly and keep your video files safe, you need to follow the recommended brands from DJI.

This is our primary recommendation from the DJI list, compatible and working with DJI Mini 3 Pro.

Below is the list of DJI-recommended SD cards:
