Avata is a fantastic FPV drone released by DJI that can fly for about 18 minutes on a single battery pack. When your batteries run low, what are the best chargers for Avata?

The Baseus 30w wall charger is our most recommended charger to safely charge your Avata batteries. The Baseus 65w USB-C charger lets you take advantage of the fast charge features of your Avata batteries. If you’re looking for a car charger, we recommend the AINOPE 54w car charger.

We have an excellent list of chargers you can use to safely and efficiently charge your DJI Avata batteries, so don’t miss it!

1. Baseus 30W Dual Port USB C Charger Block #

This charger block is our top recommendation for Avata batteries and to easily charge your remote controller and goggle batteries.

Although it may not provide the quickest charge to your Avata batteries, it’s safer to do it with limited power because it will increase the lifespan of your battery.

Other than that, this charger is well-known across the internet, and many people are delighted with the outcome potential of the charger to use not only for Avata batteries but other electronics as well.

The charger has a USB-A output on top of a USB-C output.

We recommend connecting your Avata charging hub or the power adapter provided for your Avata battery only with a USB-C to USB-C cable and not from the USB-A port of the charger because it will not deliver enough power to charge your Avata battery.

Instead, you can charge your goggles batteries and remote controller from the USB-A port with a USB-A to USB-C cable with no issues.

Our Pick

2. Baseus USB C Charger 65W #

If you’re still looking for a charger, this USB-C charger from Baseus can deliver up to 65w maximum per USB-C port (and total).

This charger has, in fact, two USB-C ports and one USB-A output port.

To take advantage of the full power of this charger, you should use it with the Avata battery hub, which can receive up to 70w per hour.

As mentioned before, the Avata single battery charger can receive only 48w per hour.

Even like this, if you want to charge your entire kit, including the battery, remote controller, and goggles battery, this charger should deliver the quickest charging capability for all your Avata batteries.

3. AINOPE Car Charger USB C 54W #

Suppose you’re looking for a car charger that can deliver enough power to charge your Avata batteries and the remote controller and goggle batteries. In that case, take advantage of the AINOPE Car Charger.

It can deliver up to 54w per hour via a USB-C port, and it has a USB-A port which is fantastic for providing such an amount of wattage from a car battery.

You should not have any issues charging any of your Avata devices with it, nor charging most other drones, your mobile phone, tablet, Macbook, etc.

Does DJI Avata come with a charger?  #

DJI Avata lacks a wall charger, whether the standard version or the Fly More Combo.

Instead, it has a unique battery charger where you connect your Avata battery and charge it via a USB charger. If you have the Fly More Combo, you get the Avata battery charging hub.

Neither of these can be connected directly to power, so you will need a high-power (specific) USB-C to USB-C charger to connect your Avata battery charger and be able to charge your drone batteries.

Charging DJI Avata batteries #

The DJI Avata Intelligent Flight Battery is a lithium-ion polymer 4S 2420mAh battery that can be charged only through the DJI Charging Hub or Power Adapter provided with the drone.

Charging Avata batteries with a 30w charger will take about two hours to charge from zero to full, whereas, with a 65w charger, you can fast charge your Avata batteries in about 48 minutes.

Fact: Did you know that fast-charging Avata batteries (as with any lithium batteries) will decrease the battery’s lifespan?

Also, did you know that the DJI Avata charging hub can charge the batteries at a maximum of 70w per hour, while the single adapter will charge to a maximum of 48w per hour?

Safety measures for charging your DJI Avata drone battery #

Even if your Avata batteries are considered safe, lithium-ion batteries can be hazardous if not handled or charged well. Don’t miss the following safety tips.

  • Do not put Avata batteries in direct sunlight or near a heat source.
  • Ensure that your wall charger or the USB-C charging cable is not damaged in any way. Even a dent in the cable can cause a short circuit, which may result in a fire.
  • Refrain from charging on an old type of charger (it may not have safety features if something goes wrong).
  • Don’t leave DJI Avata batteries unattended while charging.
  • Do not try to charge Avata batteries unconventionally. If you want more information on the DJI Avata battery, I recommend you watch the following video:
