In the past couple of years, many worldwide companies adopted a strategy to cut down costs and, for environmental purposes, not to send a charger with their products.

Does the DJI Mini 3 Pro come with a charger when you buy it new?

No, the DJI Mini 3 Pro does not come with a charger. It comes with a USB-C to USB-C data cable that will allow you to charge your battery by either connecting it directly to the drone or the two-way charging hub if you have one. Either way, you need a wall socket charger, at least, to charge your drone batteries.

Furthermore, we should take a look together at the top chargers we recommend for your DJI Mini 3 Pro and what else we need to know.

What do we need to know about DJI Mini 3 Pro and chargers? #

The DJI Mini 3 Pro uses a USB-C cable to directly charge the drone battery, which can be either inside the drone (and you connect the charger to the drone) or in a two-way charging hub.

In both cases, power from a USB-C source is needed.

The DJI Intelligent battery and battery plus are both compatible with flying the DJI Mini 3 Pro. They are 2-cell batteries charging at a maximum of 8.5 volts and have different capacities.

Different chargers mean different charging rates. We have to keep in mind that these batteries support fast charging.

But what type of chargers are recommended by DJI to charge your DJI Mini 3 Pro drone batteries either directly or in a hub?

**A USB-C Charger capable of charging 30 watts of power. **

The maximum charging capacity recommended by DJI for their Mini 3 Pro batteries is 30 watts of power. Anything less will take longer to charge.

Our Pick

They don’t recommend chargers higher than 30 watts an hour, as they are pretty specific on their recommended page list.

But what about a two-way charging hub?

You receive it when you buy the Fly More Combo pack for the DJI Mini 3 Pro, or you can buy it separately.

It will allow you to charge up to 3 batteries individually and your remote controller at the same time via the USB output.

What are the top chargers for your DJI Mini 3 Pro drone that we recommend? #

The first charger we recommend you buy for your DJI Mini 3 Pro drone and the best in its class is, in fact, a DJI original 30w charger compatible with this drone and other models.

This should remove any doubt of lack of quality or incompatibilities when we refer to charging your drones either directly or by the hub.

On the charger page, they state the full compatibility with DJI Mini 3 Pro. Therefore, this is our first choice.

Another fabulous charger, indeed slightly more expensive, is the Google 30w charger.

Why choose a Google charger?

It is lightweight, modern, made by Google, and has thousands of 5-star reviews and many pleased customers.

While DJI doesn’t have a vast number of buyers behind their chargers, the Google chargers underlined quality with so many pleased customers.

The charger is also precisely 30 watts, which is what we are looking for.

Not everybody can afford to buy more expensive chargers like the ones mentioned above. For this reason, the following recommendation comes with the budget-conscious in mind.

Voltme 30w USB-C charger

This charger comes in multiple colors and is small in size & portable. It also has a few protections included, such as over-voltage, over-current, and decent head dispersion.

The Voltme 30w is one of the cheapest USB-C chargers of 30w, capable of charging your DJI Mini 3 Pro drone batteries and with a good number of features and pleased customers.

If you want a charger capable of charging your DJI RC alongside your battery without needing the two-way charging hub, then a dual port charger with both USB-C and USB-A should be considered.

The charger that comes to our minds as packing the best features, dual port as needed, and still remains decent in size is the Baseus 30w.

This charger also has a large number of customers pleased by its performance, and it is an excellent 3rd party charger compatible with the DJI Mini 3 Pro batteries (plus RC).

Our Pick

Are you traveling with your DJI Mini 3 Pro by car? What about car chargers? #

Maybe you already have a wall socket charger to charge your DJI Mini 3 Pro batteries, or you already use your phone’s quick charger or anything else, but what about when you are on the go?

Traveling by car doesn’t mean we have to give up on charging the drone battery; it means we have to adapt.

For this reason, we should also look for decent car chargers we can use for the drone.

Our preferred option is to choose the Syncwire USB-C car charger.

It does have one USB-C capable of charging your drone battery up to 30 watts, the recommended wattage, and another QC USB-A port, excellent for charging your DJI RC or RC-N1. Plus, any other devices.

Just be aware, charge your drone batteries on the car only when driving or you know that there’s enough juice left in your car battery.

Charging a few more DJI Mini 3 Pro batteries than needed without charging your car battery may flatline it.

Are there other options to charge your DJI Mini 3 Pro? #

Let’s take a step back together and check how you charge your DJI Mini 3 Pro drone.

Typically, we charge by connecting the USB-C cable directly to the drone in case we don’t have the two-way charging hub that comes with the Fly More Combo.

It would be an alternative way not to have the DJI Mini 3 Pro always connected to the power but instead to charge the batteries separately.

Here is the two-way charging hub we recommend (the official one)

Conclusion #

Considering that DJI follows Apple’s undertaking to remove the chargers from their products to reduce costs and decrease pollution, we have to think about how we’ll charge our DJI Mini 3 Pro drone and other newer models.

The above-stated chargers are just a few capable of charging the drone batteries, and we follow a safe usage principle.
