The Holy Stone HS720 has better camera qualities and a noiseless flight than the Ruko F11 Pro. Even though the Ruko F11 Pro has a longer battery time, the Holy Stone HS720 stands out in both features and performance.

Read on to learn more about the features and abilities of the Ruko F11 Pro Drone and Holy Stone HS720 to understand which is the better drone.

Ruko F11 Pro Drone –  Features and Performance #

The Ruko F11 Pro drone is a mini consumer drone with lots of high-end features that other comparable drones don’t have. Even though it costs quite a lot, it is worth its price. The performance and features make it a good buy.

It comes with two 2500 mAh batteries which give it 1 hour of non-stop flight time. The drone also comes with spare propellers. It has brushless motors that prevent overheating and require minimum maintenance. The brushless motors enable the drone to fly at a high altitude of 120 meters and give it a high level of wind resistance.

The drone is foldable making it easy to travel with. The propeller arms along its side easily and neatly fold in. Measuring 17.5 by 15.9 by 3.2 inches, its size reduces to less than half when you fold it.

There is no fear of crash damage, as the casing is of high-quality plastic. The maximum flight range is no less than 1200 meters. It has a nice and rectangular body which makes it look sleek.

With a 4K UHD adjustable camera, your pictures and videos come out in ultra HD quality. The 120-degree field of view also enables it to capture remarkable footage. It has a micro SD card slot that provides more storage for your pictures and videos.

The transmitter looks sleek like the drone itself and is very easy to operate without feeling discomfort in your wrists. Both the transmitter and app have an extended range of connectivity. The GPS enables the drone to maintain a smooth and stable flight in the air, so you don’t have to worry about the drone getting out of control.

There are different speed modes – low, medium, and high-speed modes. The higher the speed mode, the higher the power it consumes, equating to shorter overall flight times.  It can reach speeds of up to 26.8 miles per hour.

There are also many beginner-friendly features, so you don’t need a high level of expertise to fly the drone. With the headless mode, you can be sure to stay oriented, even if the drone changes orientation.

Ruko F11 Pro – Pros and Cons #

The Ruko F11 Pro drone has a durable construction, long playtime, beginner-friendly features, and many intelligent functions that make it exciting to fly. However, it is not without limitations.

For instance, it has no obstacle avoidance, making it more likely to collide with other objects in the air when you are flying it. And even though the GPS module helps to stabilize the drone, it is not enough and the Ruko F11 Pro still has some stability issues.

The camera has no gimbal stabilizer either, a tool that stabilizes a drone when taking pictures and videos in the air. For this reason, the footage is a bit shaky.

Also, the battery charge time takes nothing less than three hours.

Holy Stone HS720 – Features and Performance  #

The Holy Stone HS720 drone is known as one of the best-performing drones in its class. Upon its release, it rose quickly to become a favorite among drone enthusiasts. It has many excellent features that distinguish it from the rest.

It comes with a  Lithium Polymer 2800 mAh battery, a 2.4GHz transmitter, GPS intelligent flight function, 4K FHD camera, dual navigation system, and shock absorption holder. The battery gives you 26 minutes of flight time before it runs out.

The 4K FHD camera allows you to shoot high-resolution images and videos. The camera lens is adjustable up to 90° so that you can shoot from different angles.

The camera also has a shock absorption holder, making it more stable amidst vibrations in the air. The internet connectivity is 5G and on an all-time high. With it, you can explore your surroundings in real-time without any restraint, with no chance of your streaming failing.

A click on the drone app allows you to control your drone wherever you are and share your footage. You can shoot distant scenery conveniently as the remote-control range is 1600 meters. The 2.4GHz transmitter allows it to remain in the air at a height of 3000 feet.

Even if you have no experience flying drones, flying the Holy Stone HS720 is simple. It has both GPS Assisted Intelligence and GLONASS combination that sends it back to the starting location should you happen to get beyond range. This dual system also means that in case one of them fails, the other will serve as a backup.

When there is a lost signal or a low battery, the drone will return to you automatically. You don’t have to go looking for it. Besides, you can preprogram a custom flight path or determine the flight path in the hands-free mode.

You can make the drone follow you as well. It has a small light you can turn on if you’re flying after dark. If you don’t want to manually handle the take off and landing, you can activate the one button takeoff/landing function.

It is made of high-grade plastic and comes with sturdy, reinforced propellers. Despite its small size, it is durable and flies smoothly in the air. For this reason, it can handle impacts without getting damaged.

Holy Stone HS720 – Pros, and Cons #

It is easy to use the drone. The transmitter has a LED display screen that doesn’t strain your eyes. The controls on the app are easy to find and use. Most of the functions require only a click of a button.

On the other hand, the Holy Stone HS720 has some disadvantages. The battery gives a flight time of 26 minutes, which you always hope for a bit more, right? The battery’s charge time is five to seven hours, which is really quite a lot of time.

If you want to use your drone for more than 26 minutes, you have to get spare batteries. This means you have to keep replacing your batteries. Also, some users have reported issues with the battery charger being unresponsive or coming disconnected.
