This device is a little more expensive, but you will not regret it, especially since it has a great battery life, 15 hours of playback.

8. iPad Air 2 #

iPad Air 2 is another popular choice for the DJI Mavic Pro, with its display resolution of 2048×1536 (QXGA). Experience has shown that the DJI Go App runs best and is most stable on iOS. 

This iPad is heavier (444 grams) and a bit more expensive. But it’s worth it for the latest iOS 10 version, and you can install iOS 11 as well, with no problems.

Thanks to the standard apps (that are free) such as iMovie, the iPad is also great for cutting small films directly on the tablet.

If you plan to cut very many or longer videos on the tablet, I suggest you get an iPad 2 Air with a good amount of storage space since you cannot expand it once purchased. Your drone will work perfectly with them, but keep in mind that you will need an additional adapter to mount it properly. No matter the size of the tablet, you can always use a tablet holder. It gives you more room for a variety of tablet sizes and helps you position the tablet for flying.
