Difference Between Ruko F11 and F11 Pro

Although the Ruko F11 and F11 pro have a number of things in common, the two drones aren’t entirely the same. The differences between these two drones are part of what you need to consider if you’re trying to choose between either Ruko F11 or F11 Pro. The drone has a stabilization sensor, which helps it to hover and fly smoothly whatever your experience level.

The Ruko F11 drone can automatically follow any route drawn by the pilot. It has a GPS function for navigating places and returning to its launch position when necessary. It can also automatically follow the pilot when the pilot activates the follow-me mode. The drone can be controlled even when it is up to 3937 feet away from the pilot. If by chance the drone flies out of control range, it will automatically find its way back to its launch position.

The Ruko F11 drone can capture spectacular scenery better than many other drones due to its high image quality. The drone can take photos with 4K resolution and record videos with 2K resolution. And due to the drone’s ability to hover stably, its video recordings are generally quite clear. Its shock absorption function further helps to keep the camera stable while recording videos. 

If the pilot marks a particular subject as a point of interest, the drone will automatically capture the subject, following it in all directions. The drone can capture images even if you aren’t holding the controller since it supports gesture shooting. It can transmit its HD video recording over a maximum distance of 1640 feet, although the maximum video transmission range may fall a little bit below 1640 feet, depending on the environment and the device receiving the transmission.

The Ruko F11 can fly for about 30 minutes after it has been fully charged. The drone has LED lights that show the battery level. Its overcharging protection feature will safeguard the battery from damage while charging. It takes about three and a half hours to charge the drone.

Ruko F11 Pro Drone #

Ruko F11 Pro is another portable drone designed especially for those who want to be able to fly their drone for a long period of time. The drone comes with two intelligent modular batteries. Each battery can last up to 30 minutes when the drone is flying. 

Each battery has four LED lights that indicate the battery level. The battery can easily be swapped out when it runs down. It takes approximately three and a half hours to charge each battery. Even if you don’t disconnect the USB cable from the battery when it is full, it still won’t overcharge since it features overcharging protection.

The drone can fly stably even when a moderate wind is blowing around it. Part of the features that enable the drone to fly stably include its brushless motor and 11.1V high voltage battery. It takes only a few button taps to launch the drone and also to return it to its launch position.  The drone features several control modes that enable the pilot to fly the drone with great ease.

“Follow me mode” is one of the control modes that allows a pilot to fly the drone with ease. When this mode is activated, the drone will automatically follow the pilot and capture his/her movement all through the period that the mode remains active.

A pilot can also decide to draw a route on the application screen if he/she wants the drone to automatically follow a pre-set route. Up to 16 points can be used to define the route that the drone should follow. Pilots who wish to be in full control of the flight can control the drone when the distance between them and the drone is less than 4000 feet. If the drone flies outside the control range, it will automatically travel back to its launch position.

Ruko F11 Pro has an upgraded camera for taking pictures and recording videos. The drone can take photos with 4K resolution and record videos with 2.9K resolution. Due to the drone’s ability to hover stably, its video recordings are generally pretty clear. Its shock absorption function further helps to keep the camera stable while recording videos. However, its videos can sometimes appear shaky since the camera doesn’t have a gimbal stabilizer.

It’s not compulsory to hold the controller when taking pictures with the drone because it supports gesture shooting. However, the controller is needed to adjust the camera to various angles. The maximum angle that the camera can be adjusted to is 90°.

The Ruko F11 Pro can also automatically capture any particular subject in all directions if the pilot marks a particular subject as a point of interest. Every video that the drone records can be transmitted to a target device that is within the range of 1640 feet. Kindly note that the maximum video transmission range depends on the environment and device receiving the transmission. Hence, some devices may no longer receive data from the drone when near the limit of 1640 feet away from the drone. The drone transmits clear live video via a very fast network to avoid video lag or delay.

• The drone doesn’t have an obstacle avoidance feature. Consequently, it could collide with objects while flying in the air, especially when follow me mode is activated.
• The drone camera lacks a gimbal stabilizer. As a result, some of its recordings may appear shaky even when the drone hovers stably.

Differences between Ruko F11 Drone and Ruko F11 Pro Drone #

Battery life #

The Ruko F11 can fly for only about 30 minutes before running out of power. However, the Ruko F11 Pro has a total battery life of 60 minutes since it has two batteries. We can consider this difference to be the most obvious difference between the two drones. You could potentially eliminate this difference by simply purchasing a second battery for your Ruko F11.

Control range #

Ruko F11 Pro can be controlled even when it is 4000 feet away from the controller. Ruko F11 on the other hand can be controlled only when the distance between the drone and controller isn’t greater than 3937 feet. Although the difference here isn’t much, to some people it is quite significant. 

Video resolution #

The Ruko F11 and F11 Pro have equal photo resolution of 4K, but different video resolution. The Ruko F11 can record HD videos with 2K resolution, while the Ruko F11 Pro can record a higher video resolution of 2.9K. The difference here implies that Ruko F11 Pro can record videos that are clearer than the ones Ruko F11 can record.

As you can see, the differences between the Ruko F11 and F11 Pro are fairly insignificant. If you want the more budget option, the F11 is definitely the way to go. However if you plan to buy an extra battery at some point, it might make sense just to get it bundled together with the F11 Pro, as it’s probably going to save you a few bucks in the long run.
