DJI Mavic 3 Pro – Where is the Serial Number? (Answered)
Table of Contents
The Mavic 3 Pro, released in May of 2023, with its three-camera system is a much-appreciated update to the Mavic 3, and the subsequent Mavic 3 Classic.
As such, it shares much of the physical features, hardware, and software of the entire Mavic 3 Series. This also includes the locations of the Mavic 3 Pro’s serial numbers.
Being a large consumer drone weighing over 250 g, the Mavic 3 Pro needs to be registered in the United States.
The registration number of the Mavic 3 Pro is needed to complete that process. Additionally, when purchasing DJI Refresh options, the serial number is required.
Like with the Mavic 3 and Mavic 3 Classic, the serial number for the DJI Mavic 3 Pro can be located:
- On the outside of the box that the Mavic 3 Pro originally came in
- Within the DJI Fly app
- On the QR code sticker in the battery compartment of the Mavic 3 Pro
We’ll now take a closer look at each of these serial number locations, as well as those for the battery and various remote controllers.
Location of the Mavic 3 Pro’s Serial Number #
Here we’ll discuss where to find the Mavic 3 Pros serial numbers, the serial number for the DJI RC Pro, DJI RC, and DJI RC-N1, as well as the intelligent flight batteries.
Mavic 3 Pro #
The most easily accessible location for the Mavic 3 Pro serial number is at the bottom of the box you received with your Mavic 3 Pro.
In addition to the serial number, you will also see the EAN (European Article Number) and UPC (Universal Product Code).
The second way to access the serial number of the Mavic 3 Pro is through a QR (quick response) code printed within the body of the Mavic 3 Pro.
A QR code is easily recognizable as a square, 2-dimensional, monochromatic scannable barcode. For these types of codes, you would use either your cell phone’s camera or scanner app.
When the QR code is scanned, it launches either a webpage in your phone’s browser, directs you to a particular data source, or displays information.
In the case of the Mavic 3 Pro, when scanning the serial number’s QR code, the full serial number is then displayed on your electronic device.
The location of the Mavic 3 Pro QR code is in an overlooked location in the battery compartment of the Mavic 3 Pro.
To access the QR code, remove the Mavic 3 Pro battery and on the left-hand side, in the battery compartment, you will see the QR code.
